Brava was designed with the security of your documents and network in mind. It always protects the integrity of the source file, even when transferring views across the firewall. Brava offers features that aid in compliance and content security initiatives, like redaction, watermarks and banners and the ability to enforce business rules based on user role. It also offers the ability to publish to the secure CSF format, which allows users to add file-level security settings and even expire the file.

File Level Security
Brava never alters the source document and users never get access to the original file, just views of pages in the file.
Business Rules Enforced
Brava honors business rules and policies, including forcing the display of watermarks/banners, controlling which document stamps are available to a user, enforcing document access rights, making markups non-editable once submitted and much more.
Network Security
Client/server transfers can be encrypted. Brava servers are security hardened.
Honors Permissions
When integrated into a content management system, Brava honors all user permissions. Ability to disable print, copy and annotation based on user roles in the organization or business process.
Redaction
Protect highly sensitive information with Brava's redaction features.
CSF with Visual Rights
Secure CSF offers the ability to restrict printing, markup and more. It also offers the ability to expire (time bomb) the file. Because CSF is a proprietary IGC format, there are no third party editors that can modify content or circumvent security and expiration date settings.
